WHY AM I DOING THIS?!?!?!
Because…..ALL PROCEEDS GO TOWARDS KICKSTART CHARITY!
Kickstart is a volunteer organization that has been involved with CISS for the past 5 years, and has been our link for community outreach in HCMC. Each year, they coordinate academic scholarships for underprivileged children in HCMC.
Academic scholarships cover tuition and school supplies for the children. While this may seem like a small price to pay for us, it is too great an expense for many families. By paying tuition for one child, you will ensure that financial barriers will not prevent him or her from being able to go to school with other children.
This school year has been filled with many great memories for all of us. Unfortunately, not every child is able to share these same experiences so as I leave Vietnam at the end of this year, it is my goal to not only see my BCIS students enjoy school for years to come, but also for underprivileged children to be able to experience the joys that school can bring. If you can remember anything from Mr. James, please remember that every little bit counts and the goodness of your heart goes a long way in life!
Thank you and see you there with a Water Balloon in hand!
Mr. James
PS. I BET YOU WON’T SOAK ME!!!!!
